Michelle works hard to help clients achieve important goals, both personally and professionally. She has experience in the areas of wills, trusts, estate and gift planning, probate, tax planning, business formation and succession planning. Her detailed knowledge of trust and estate law, as well as complex federal and state government regulations, assist her in providing her clients with a variety of viable options suitable to their specific needs. She enjoys problem solving and finds it gratifying to explore solutions that can make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives and financial wellbeing.
Prior to joining Morris Legal and Tax, LLC, Michelle worked for a number of firms both in New York and Atlanta, where in addition to estate planning, she gained experience in various areas of litigation. Michelle is confident that with her wide-ranging interests and background, she can help you accomplish your personal goals while minimizing taxes and other costs.
Michelle is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Georgia and is a member of the fiduciary law section of the Georgia State Bar.
Education
Michelle earned her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York and graduated with a concentration in tax law. While in law school, Michelle was accepted to Cardozo’s Tax Clinic where she was trained in tax court rules and federal tax procedures, and represented clients with tax controversies before the IRS Appeals Office and in US Tax Court settlements, motions and trials.
Michelle received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Marketing cum laude from New York University’s Stern School of Business where she received a Dean’s Merit Scholarship.
Personal
Originally from Los Angeles, Michelle moved to New York for college and graduate school, and relocated to Atlanta with her husband in 2012. When not in the office, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She is an active member of her community and is currently serving on
the Board of Directors for Temima, the Richard & Jean Katz High School for Girls. Michelle is conversant in written and spoken Hebrew.
